The Creeping Bent Organisation in association with Synergy Concerts present 060606
in Mono on Tuesday 6th June. This event is an inverted mirror-image counterpoint to Creeping Bent’s fin de siecle performance in Bongo Fury, Edinburgh, on the 9th September 1999…090999…, which featured The Nectarine No9.
BRICOLAGE release their debut single, “Footsteps/Flowers of Deceit”, on June 26th. Available as white vinyl 7” single and digital download on Creeping Bent, it is the opening salvo in what promises to be a fruitful year for the group. Vic Godard has been approached to produce the next single, and the group have been invited to perform at the Wireless Festival in
This follows recent shows with Fire Engines and Long Blondes, along with performances at the Tigerfest and Triptych festivals.
HOW TO SWIM have just released their debut mini-album, “The Littlest Orgasm” on Electric Honey. Critical acclaim has not been in short supply for this 11 piece group, who meld the spirit of Alex Harvey with Brecht to create a theatrical spectacle best witnessed live.
SEXUAL OBJECTS make their live debut-ette at 060606, which is fitting as the Objects is a side project of Davy Henderson, whose NN9 starred in 090999. Expect brevity, expect sparks….the recent Fire Engines performances have reignited
